Someone online found out why the links to MVs on bugsmusic doesn't work. The Bugs people changed the date in the url to 20040504...very smart.

Here's the generic form of the url to steal MVs from Bugs (this information is take from Soompi File Sharing Forum): mms://musicv.bugs.co.kr/20040504bugsmusicdevpart1/kor/1st two #'s of mkor#/mkor#.asf

For example: the link for kimbumsoo's new mv "Gaseumae Jineun Taeyang" would be mms://musicv.bugs.co.kr/20040504bugsmusicdevpart1/kor/01/mkor01254405.asf

I figured out a way to download from http://kpopdb.com. I don't know if what I'm doing is illegal or legal. But here's the process:

1) Find out the song's ID # by skimming through the page's source, and replace "3340331" with it: http://www.kpopdb.com/kplayer.asp?sid=3340331

2) Go to the website above, and you'll see an audio player; go to this website's HTML and look for the song's FILENAME, for example: param name="Filename" value="player.asp?sid=3340331&b=f&pt="

3) take the value part, and stick "http://www.kpopdb.com/" in front so that you get the url: http://www.kpopdb.com/player.asp?sid=3340331&b=f&pt=

4) Stick the above url in NET TRANSPORT to down it. You will download a weird file. Open this file with Notepad, and you'll see a path to the mp3 file. Stick that mp3 url into Net Transport: http://media.kpopdb.com:8088/Streaming003/003/340/STAU_3340331_CBR128K.MP3

I found a way to stop pop-ups/ads. I don't know if this will work with Tripod. I'm sick of Tripod's ads. When I do get the time, I will apply this code in my html.

To download K-MEDIA at http://www.daum.net/:

1) Login my username (sherlee302) with my usual password.

2) At the top menu bar, choose 'Music' ('Myu Jik') or 'Movie' ('Yong Hwa')

3) Search whatever, and get results.

4) A window pops up and plays the media.

5) Go to my Temporary Internet Files folder in my hard drive, and find the website that looks like: http://mv.daum.net/player/mv_player.asp?no=687

6) The last three numbers (e.g. 687 in this case) is the video's ID #. Take this number and insert it this url (e.g. I would insert it where it says 687): http://mv.daum.net/player/viewvideo.asp?no=687&k=h&index=n

7) Go to this website. View Sources. Scroll down and find the mms url that leads directly to the video, and download with Net Transport: mms://mmc.daumcast.net/mmc/1/500/0902031000302h.wmv

The website is in Chinese, so you must read in Chinese and know how to type in Chinese to search for your song/artist, unless the names/titles are in English. This place includes Chinese, Korean, Japanese, English, OST, Classical music. This is the best mp3 place I've found so far. You can actually click on the song link and download it from their FTP server. If you wanna download it with Net Transport, here's how to do it. This is the generic download link that supposedly leads to the actual mp3 file:

figure out what the song ID is on the website, and replace the ##### with the ID, and there goes your URL to the mp3 file! Simple and clean!
